Following Triple H’s devastating loss to Brock Lesnar in their “Perfect Storm” confrontation at Sunday night’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, WWE medical personal have reported that The Game has suffered a broken arm – no doubt a direct result of his dangerous adversary’s Kimura Lock.
It has also been released that The King of Kings broke his left arm in the same place that he did when Brock attacked him on the April 30 episode of Raw, an assault that lit the fuse on their tremendous rivalry. Although Triple H had initially refused medical attention last night, an examination this morning confirmed the severity of the injury.
For more on the situation, tune in to Monday Night Raw tonight, where Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman will address the WWE Universe at the top of the show
Both the WWE Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship bouts were shortened due to time constraints because the production team wanted to make sure there would be enough time for the aftermath of the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar bout since The Game’s farewell scene will play a vital role in storylines going forward.
Nobody within WWE expects Triple H to really be retiring from in-ring competition. The feeling is that Triple H still has many matches left. He’s expected to go away for a few months and then come back for a rematch against Brock Lesnar, possibly at Survivor Series.
