Everton assistant manager Steve Round is adamant Leighton Baines will not leave the club during this transfer window.

The full-back has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park but Round says the club have not received any bids and would not welcome any.

“There are only a few days to go and I don’t think anyone is leaving now that’s for sure,” he said. “His heart is here definitely, he is a local boy. He loves the club, loves his team-mates and loves to go out there to play and perform.”

With all the talk about Theo Walcott’s contract talks at Arsenal failing, we’ve seen a lot of money on him to leave North London. The England winger now 5/4 to move to Man City having been 33/1 on Tuesday morning, and is 5/2 from 9/2 to move to Liverpool.
